Where the radio fuse of 1999 Volkswagen Passat is located? Where is the Fuse Schematic? Fuse number if in a box
It will say Radio or Access. ALSO trace the red wire from the back of the radio and you will come upon a cocoon type of plastic and open that up and inside is another fuse which is a radio fuse. then the red wire continues to the fuse-box to 8 or higher unless a former owner decided he wanted to bypass the ignition key switch and have the radio running without his keys in the ignition. Then it goes to any fuse that is hot all the time.
The cluster of fuses is located on the drivers side to the left of the steering wheel. Its the part that gets covered when you shut the door. You can take your key and just pop the cover off and look at the little diagram and it will tell you which is for the radio.
