Brain and its ability of thinking is very mysterious thing. Without it we we would be dummies and the same thing for animals, birds and fish. The purpose of brain is a survival mechanism from danger and hostile environment. Brain and the ability of survival is to protect the species. This is however, does not exist for plants species. How brain came about and ability to think and reason is a great mystery.
